Upcoming Classes
Recovery Specialist Insurance Group is conducting State Law
Certification Courses throughout the nation. These courses are
designed to educate people in the Repossession Industry of the case
law specific to that state—it is not a licensing program. Subjects
covered in the course are; Breach of the Peace; Fair Debt Collection
Practices Act; the Uniform Commercial Code; specialty repossessions
(bankruptcies, Indian Reservations and military bases);
documentation; personal property; and other repossession related
topics.
The course is for
two days. All materials for the course, breakfast and lunch for
both days are provided. There is a fifty question exam at the end
of the second day. This is not an open book exam and it is
proctored. Anyone completing the course will receive a certificate
of attendance and those that pass the exam will receive a
certificate of successful completion from Recovery Specialist
Insurance Group. Previous attendees, including lenders, attorneys,
insurance professionals and repossessors (both members and
non-members of RSIG) highly rate this course. We invite all
repossession professionals to attend. Class size is limited and
early registration is recommended. Registration is currently open
for 2006 courses.
